This Privacy Policy explains how DoseRx ("we", "our", or "us", operated by SoloDevDoc) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application DoseRx: Clinical Drug Reference (Package ID: com.solodevdoc.doserx) available on Google Play.

1. Information We Collect & How We Use It

We prioritize user privacy and adhere to strict medical data minimization:

  • Optional Google Sign-In: DoseRx offers an optional Sign in with Google capability powered by Google Identity and Firebase Authentication. When you choose to sign in, we receive basic non-sensitive profile information (your name, email address, and profile photo URL). This information is used solely to authenticate your account, securely synchronize your drug bookmarks and custom compounding presets across your devices, and verify Pro subscription entitlements. We never request access to your Google Contacts, Google Drive, Gmail, or any other sensitive OAuth scopes.
  • Guest & Offline Access: If you choose not to sign in, you can use DoseRx fully as a guest. All core point-of-care calculators, offline drug search, and basic monographs are accessible without an account.
  • Client-Side Patient Calculations (Zero Data Transmission): All patient physiological parameters entered into our bedside calculators (such as body weight, height, age, serum creatinine, BSA, or syrup concentrations) are processed strictly in local volatile device memory (RAM). Patient parameters are never stored in databases, never logged, and never transmitted across the network.
  • In-App Subscriptions & Billing: When purchasing a DoseRx Pro subscription (Annual, Monthly, or Weekly), financial transactions and purchase tokens are handled securely by Google Play In-App Billing and validated via RevenueCat. We never receive or store your credit card or financial banking details.
  • Optional Feedback & Error Reporting: If you choose to submit a clinical correction report via the in-app reporting dialog, you may optionally provide an email address for follow-up verification. If omitted, reports are submitted anonymously.
  • Advertising Diagnostics (Free Tier Only): For Free tier users, non-personally identifiable diagnostic and advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) may be processed by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to serve non-intrusive banner and rewarded sponsor ads. Pro subscribers enjoy a 100% ad-free experience.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with industry-standard platforms to deliver security, subscription validation, and delivery:

  • RevenueCat: In-app subscription management, receipt validation, and self-service Customer Center. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Banner and rewarded video ads for Free Tier access. (Google Advertising Policy)

3. Data Protection & Encryption Security

All network communications utilize HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption. Offline database storage is secured locally within the application sandbox using hardware-backed Android KeyStore encryption and 256-bit AES cryptographic protection.

4. User Rights & Data Retention

Because DoseRx does not require user accounts or store personal profiles on remote servers, we do not retain identifiable personal dossiers. Any optional email addresses submitted via clinical reports are retained solely for curation follow-up and can be deleted upon request.

5. Children's Privacy

DoseRx is a professional clinical pharmacology reference intended exclusively for healthcare practitioners, medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and students aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
